Following the 2011 expansion of the G Sedan Line with the introduction of the 2.5-liter V6-equipped Infiniti G25 Sedan, the major enhancements for the 2012 model year focus on content refinements to the Limited Edition and Sport Appearance Edition models. The G37 Limited Edition adds a new Graphite interior color (replaces the previous Monaco Red interior), a Black Obsidian exterior color and dark-finish 18-inch aluminum-alloy wheels. The G37 Sport Appearance Edition model changes include a new Midnight Black grille. Other 2012 refinements include one new exterior color, Malbec Black, for all models (excluding G25, Limited Edition and Sport Appearance Edition).

The Infiniti G Sedan is now offered in 10 well-equipped versions: G25 Sedan, G25 Sedan Journey, G25x Sedan AWD, G37 Sedan Journey, G37x Sedan AWD, G37 Sedan Sport 6MT, G37 Sedan Sport Appearance Edition, G37x Sedan AWD Sport Appearance Edition, G37 Sedan Limited Edition and G37x Sedan AWD Limited Edition.

The popular G25 Sedan has broadened the appeal of the G Line by providing an additional choice for buyers looking for a true luxury sedan, but who might not need the higher levels of performance provided by the larger engine-equipped G37 models. The G25 Sedan shares the same dynamic exterior, interior and chassis as the G37, but with a smaller displacement engine. The 2.5-liter DOHC 24-valve V6 produces 218 horsepower and 187 lb-ft of torque. The G25 Sedan comes with a standard 7-speed automatic transmission and is available in both rear-wheel drive and intelligent all-wheel drive.

The 2012 G37 Sedan continues to offer a standard 328-horsepower 3.7-liter VVEL (Variable Valve Event Lift) V6 and 7-speed automatic transmission or available 6-speed manual transmission, as well as with an advanced Infiniti Intelligent All-Wheel Drive system.

The G Sedan’s strikingly seductive exterior once again stands out from the crowd with its sleek wave-form hood, signature G-style taillights, raked A-pillars and athletic stance. Inside, the G37 Sedan offers a crafted interior environment and luxury features such as standard leather-appointed seating and an available audiophile-quality Infiniti Studio on Wheels® by Bose® premium audio system, which combines Bose®’s 3-way front door speaker array with 10-inch subwoofers and a parcel shelf-mounted subwoofer.

Advanced G Sedan technologies include standard Infiniti Intelligent Key with Push Button Ignition and available RearView Monitor and Intelligent Cruise Control with Preview Braking.

The available Infiniti Hard Drive Navigation System (G37 Sedan models only) includes features such as XM NavTraffic® with Real-Time Traffic Information and NavWeather™ with Real-Time Weather and 3-day forecast (XM® subscription required, sold separately), Streaming Audio via Bluetooth® and Zagat® Restaurant Guide. Other navigation system features include Infiniti’s Voice Recognition for audio and navigation systems.

The G37 Sedan Sport 6MT model features a number of unique equipment features beyond its close-ratio 6-speed manual transmission, including split 5-spoke 18-inch aluminum-alloy wheels with W-rated summer performance tires, Sport Brakes, Sport-tuned Suspension, 14.7:1 Sport-tuned steering gear, Viscous Limited-Slip Differential (VLSD), unique sport front fascia and headlights, unique sport side sills, front sport seats, aluminum pedals and footrest and more.

The G37 Sedan Sport Appearance Editions (rear-wheel and all-wheel drive) start with the long list of G37 Sedan Journey equipment (including RearView Monitor, heated front seats, heated outside mirrors, Dual Zone Automatic Temperature Control, HomeLink® Universal Transceiver, auto on/off headlights and 8-way power front passenger seat) and add a Midnight Black grille, front chin spoiler, rear decklid spoiler, power moonroof, Infiniti Studio on Wheels® by Bose® Premium Audio System and more.
