Most people only know Porsche guru Magnus Walker at the wheel of his legendary Porsche 911 with start number 277. Yet, at the Silvretta Classic, the now-Californian fell in love with a black Gullwing with number 25.
Magnus Walker, wacky Porsche collector from downtown Los Angeles, was able at the 21st Silvretta Classic to celebrate several firsts. “It’s my first time in a Gullwing and it’s also my first time in such a classic-car rally,” says the British-born driver, laughing into his beard. “I’ve competed in many kinds of races in my time, but nothing like this. It’s all so demanding that you scarcely have time to take in any of the fantastic Alpine panorama on the passes.”
