Oshawa, ON (November 01, 2013) — General Motors of Canada is working with its suppliers to conduct a voluntarily recall of the following products:

ACDelco White Wall Tire Cleaner ACDelco Bug Remover

Part Number (on label): 10952039 Part Number (on label): 89020339

Product Size: 450 mL Product Size: 473 mL

These products, sold at General Motors dealerships across Canada, do not have the mandatory child-resistant packaging as required under Canadian law. The lack of child-resistant packaging could potentially result in the misuse of these products and lead to serious injury. There have been no reports of any injuries related to the use of these products.

The recalled products were sold between December 2005 and September 2013 and were produced by Crown Chemical Incorporated (ACDelco White Wall Tire Cleaner) and Cul-Mac Industries Incorporated (ACDelco Bug Remover).

These products, as currently packaged, are suitable only for industrial use. Retail consumers should return the products to the place of purchase for a full refund.
