The expectations:

BMW Motorsport Director Jens Marquardt: “BMW
Motorsport’s story is closely related to a Nürburgring, that is
because we are so looking brazen to going behind there with a DTM. Since
a quip in 2012, we have had some successful weekends in the
Eifel Mountains, with wins for Bruno Spengler and Maxime Martin, as
good as dual victories for Marco Wittmann and some-more lectern finishes. We
would like to continue that trend this year. The races during the
Nürburgring symbol a start of a final third of a consistently
sparkling season. We can safely assume that it will be a close-run
thing in a Eifel segment too. Last deteriorate showed that it is difficult
to make any arrange of prediction. The continue adds an component of
unpredictability that can shake things up. We are looking brazen to a
great, sparkling weekend that will hopefully be successful too.”

Stefan Reinhold (Team Principal, BMW Team RMG): “The
Nürburgring is a home competition for a whole team. You unequivocally can contend that
we all adore a Nürburgring and we all have some good memories from
new years. That is because we are coming a weekend with plenty
of motivation. We have seen that we are good placed this deteriorate with
a drivers and we wish that we can record some tip finishes during the
Nürburgring once again.”

Marco Wittmann (#11, Red Bull BMW M4 DTM – 68 races, 8 wins,
18 podiums, 8 stick positions, 616 points, 2 Drivers’
titles):
“I have always been unequivocally successful during the
Nürburgring and we was means to win there in 2014 and 2016. This is a
home competition for my RMG group and we will be on a attack. we unequivocally like
a circuit and have always been quick there so we am anticipating for two
good subordinate and competition formula this weekend. we need to make adult a few
points after being unfit in Zandvoort.”

Augusto Farfus (#15, Shell BMW M4 DTM – 78 races, 4 wins, 12
podiums, 6 stick positions, 368 points):
“The Nürburgring as
a whole is something special. It is only a church of motorsport and it
is always good to be there. we simply adore a Nürburgring, especially
a Nordschleife. Our form has been improving over a final few races
and a gait in Zandvoort was fantastic. We were on a front quarrel of
a grid twice and we showed that we can unequivocally do a good job. We
wish to use this procedure and measure some some-more critical points during a Nürburgring.”

if we were successful there – essentially for a team, of course. The
continue during a Nürburgring is always good for a few surprises, so we am
vehement to see what awaits us.”

Bart Mampaey (Team Principal, BMW Team RBM): “We had
a home competition in Zandvoort and a same can be pronounced of a Nürburgring,
as it is not distant from a Belgian border. We have some good memories
from new years and a drivers are unequivocally fondness a circuit:
Maxime and Bruno won there already and Tom came unequivocally tighten to winning
final year. The Nürburgring poses opposite hurdles to those in
Zandvoort. The circuit has some engaging delayed and quick sections but
many of all we can't blink a change of a weather. It
is critical to have a good set-up from a initial use session
onwards and a engineers and drivers are operative unequivocally tough to achieve
this. Recently we reliable a good form in a array stop competition
by winning a Zandvoort eventuality so a group looks in good shape. Our
design is to concede all 3 drivers to measure good points during the
Nürburgring and hopefully supplement some-more podiums to a 2017 record.”

Bruno Spengler (#7, BMW Bank BMW M4 DTM – 151 races, 15 wins,
48 podiums, 18 stick positions, 820 points, 1 Drivers’
title):
“The Nürburgring is one of my favourite circuits. I
have won there several times, in all conditions. That is because the
Nürburgring is one of a highlights of a deteriorate for me. The fans at
a Nürburgring are something special. we have already competed there
this year, as we took partial in a 24-hour competition on a Nordschleife for
a initial time, and we saw a unrestrained of a fans once again. The
DTM fans during a Nürburgring are unequivocally good and they always look
brazen to saying us competition there. We drivers demeanour brazen to saying the
fans too.”

Tom Blomqvist (#31, BMW Driving Experience M4 DTM – 48 races,
1 win, 5 podiums, 2 stick positions, 193 points):
“I like
a Nürburgring. we have had some good formula there in a past and I
have always been fast. we also consider that a automobile should be good there
so we am unequivocally looking brazen to a Nürburgring. we wish we have some
good weather, as that always plays a part. The design is to score
some points.”

podiums, 3 stick positions, 333 points):

always unequivocally special. we have competed in copiousness of races there,
essentially on a Nordschleife. There is always a special atmosphere at
a Nürburgring when a DTM comes to visit. The fans there are really
ardent about motorsport and a circuit has a prolonged history. It is
always fun to expostulate there. The brief circuit is engaging and the
whole sourroundings there is simply great.”

The history:

The Nürburgring was non-stop in 1927 and is a oldest permanent race
