BMW M235i Racing Cup: Thrilling 24-hour race in the Eifel mountains.

The 15 starters in the BMW M235i Racing Cup class put on a great
display of motorsport in changeable weather conditions at an eventful
Nürburgring 24 Hours (GER). Victory went to the #256 BMW M235i Racing
of Securtal Sorg Rennsport and drivers Heiko Eichenberg, Yannick
Mettler (both GER), Torsten Kratz (AUT) and Tristan Viidas (EST). The
#244 BMW M235i Racing run by the Hofor Racing powered by Bonk
Motorsport team came home second, with Michael Schrey, Florian
Naumann, Marc Ehret (all GER) and Michael Fischer (AUT) sharing the
driving duties. Third place went to Norbert Fischer, Christian
Konnerth, Daniel Zils (all GER) and David Griessner (AUT) in the #40
Pixum Team Adrenalin Motorsport car.

 

BMW M235i Racing Cup: BMW M Performance Parts as special prize
for race winners.

An exclusive special prize was in store for the winners of the BMW
M235i Racing Cup on the Nürburgring-Nordschleife (GER): an M
Performance Drive Analyzer from BMW M Performance Parts. This prize
was presented for the first time to the winners of the BMW M235i
Racing Cup class – Heiko Eichenberg, Yannick Mettler, Torsten Kratz
and Tristan Viidas of the Securtal Sorg Rennsport team. The special
prize will also be presented at the remaining races in this season’s
VLN Endurance Championship at the Nürburgring. The M Performance Drive
Analyzer is an innovative tool for recording and analysing all
important driving dynamics data. The system offers comprehensive,
professional recording and analysis options, which can be appraised
and displayed on smartphones. The Drive Analyzer determines a host of
relevant information, such as various engine data, speed and peak
values, current gear, accelerator and brake pedal usage, and lateral
acceleration. The results can be viewed immediately after recording in
the form of videos or graphical display on smartphones via the M
Performance Drive Analyzer App, which is free to BMW customers.

 

Blancpain GT Series Asia: BMW Team Studie on the GT4 podium.

BMW Team Studie claimed another podium finish in the Blancpain GT
Series Asia at the “Chang International Circuit” in Buriram (THA). Ken
Urata (JPN) and Max Chen (TPE), in the #82 BMW M4 GT4, finished third
in the GT4 class in Sunday’s second race. The duo had previously
finished fourth to narrowly miss out on a spot on the podium in race one.

 

GT4 France: BMW M4 GT4 in action on the street circuit in Pau.

Races three and four of this season’s GT4 France championship took
place in Pau (FRA) this weekend. BMW Team France was the best-placed
BMW team in the Pro-Am category, finishing fifth on the famous street
circuit with the #3 BMW M4 GT4. The #100 car, run by 3Y Technology,
also finished in the top-ten in seventh place. In the second race, car
#3 was the best-placed BMW, narrowly missing out on the Pro-Am podium
by finishing fourth.
