Audi will be venturing into the blogosphere on March 5, 2012. The Corporate Blog with content on the Audi A3 will go online at the URL http://www.blog.audi.com to coincide with the opening of the Geneva Motor Show. The blog authors from Audi Communications will be presenting background information and surprising facts about the new compact model, and watching over the shoulders of the developers and designers. The Audi blog will only be available in German. “We are launching a bold experiment with the Corporate Blog: It is a platform for an utterly new kind of dialog with journalists,” commented Toni Melfi, Head of Audi Communications.
The aim of this approach to communications is to show the Audi A3 from unusual perspectives. The A3 MediaGuide is an interactive way of discovering the car. A 3D model of the compact automobile can be turned and pivoted, showing every seam and sporty detail with razor-sharp precision. In video statements, the developers and designers present their highlights of the new A3 and press materials are available for downloading. The information platform will be available from March 5, 9 p.m. (CET), at: www.audi-a3-mediaguide.de/en.
AudiMedia-geneva: On the mobile portal for the Geneva Motor Show www.audimedia-geneva.mobi, Audi Communications makes comprehensive information about the A3 available for mobile devices – smartphones and tablets. Journalists can also access the press contacts for Audi Communications there via the “Contact” section, entering the password “audi-media”.
As before, we will be broadcasting the Audi Press Conferences at the major motor shows live on a wide variety of channels.
