FC Liverpool wins Mercedes-Benz JuniorCup 2019.

For two days a total of eight teams from England, Scotland, the USA, Austria and Germany played at the Sindelfingen Glaspalast. Participating in the Mercedes-Benz JuniorCup for the first time, FC Liverpool won the tournament in the 3:2 final against Rapid Vienna.

On the two days around 10,000 spectators watched a well-balanced tournament and youth football at the highest level, culminating in a final between the two best teams. This was the first final in 22 years without German participation. FC Bayern Munich took third place, beating Glasgow Rangers 2:0. Yusuf Demir (Rapid Vienna) was nominated best player of the tournament, and the best goalkeeper was Vitezslav Jaros (FC Liverpool).
