Oshawa, Ontario (November 1, 2017) – GM Canada claims #1 in Retail and Total sales as Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac dealers deliver 26,847 vehicles (total) in October.

Retail sales flourished in October, with 21,398 deliveries, a 28.9 per cent increase year-over year.

GM Canada continues to surpass 2016 retail sales results with 199,825 deliveries (retail) calendar-year-to-date, an increase of 19.1 per cent year over year

Fleet sales also remained strong with 5,449 fleet deliveries in October, an 18 per cent increase year-over year

“Month after month we are seeing success across all our brands, led by our dynamic portfolio of crossovers, mid- and full-sized trucks and industry-leading electric vehicles,” said John Roth, vice president, sales, service and marketing. “Great value, style, technology, form and function have customers visiting our dealerships and taking delivery of just the right vehicle for them.”

  • +36.1 per cent year-over-year
  • +23.4 per cent calendar-year-to-date
  • Best October EVER

 CADILLAC

  • +12.9 per cent year-over-year
  • +16.5 per cent calendar-year-to-date
  • Best October since 2015
