Oshawa, Ontario (February 1, 2018) – Having claimed retail sales leadership in 2017, GM Canada entered 2018 with another month of strong sales as Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac dealers delivered 16,791 vehicles (total) in January.
This included 12,185 retail and 4,606 fleet deliveries, a year-over-year growth of 12.4 per cent and 22.3 per cent respectively.
This marks GM Canada’s best January since 2008.
“GM was number one in Canada for 2017 full-year automotive retail sales driven by a strong product portfolio in key Canadian market segments,” said John Roth, vice president, sales, service and marketing. “We see this trend continuing, as we continue to offer our customers the most dynamic portfolio of cars, trucks and SUVs that appeal to a wide range of Canadians.” Roth added, “2018 will see that portfolio even further enhanced with new offerings.”
