HYUNDAI PROMOTES JACQUELYN KIM TO DIRECTOR, MARKETING STRATEGY

Hyundai Motor America Vice President of Marketing Chris Perry today named Jacquelyn Kim director of marketing strategy and promotions. Kim has spent eight years with Hyundai, most recently serving as national manager of business planning and market research in Hyundais corporate planning division. In her new assignment, Kim moves into marketing and will be responsible for marketing strategy, CRM and social activities, and experiential programs. Kim will report directly to Perry.

Jackies long track record of success, strategic thinking and deep understanding of the Hyundai brand are valuable assets that will make her successful in this new role, and we look forward to her contributions in marketing and promotions, said Perry. We were pleased to find an internal candidate with the interest and skill set required for this new position. Jackie will hit the ground running, bringing nearly a decade of experience with Hyundai to the role.

Kim previously spent 17 years with ITOCHU International, an international trading company, in key management positions. She is a graduate of Cornell University with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics.
