Michael Brendel (45) will head the new “Communications and Stakeholder Relations” department for the Supervisory Board
Chairman of Volkswagen Aktiengesellschaft, Hans Dieter Pötsch, effective January 1, 2016.
Michael Brendel previously held responsibility for global digitalization strategy at Group Communications and also headed Group Investor Relations in an interim capacity from July 1. Prior to that, he was Head of the Corporate Business Communications section at Group Communications for several years.
Oliver Larkin (51) has been named the new Head of Investor Relations. Larkin has been with the Volkswagen Group for 21 years and held various positions, inter alia at SEAT, Bentley and as CFO of Volkswagen Group UK. He moved to Investor Relations 11 years ago and previously managed the London Office.
