Rudolf Dittrich (General Manager BMW Motorsport Vehicle
Development):
“It was an eventful race. Throughout the
whole race, we could never be certain if it was going to sleet or not.
Qualifying did not yield us with a starting position we had hoped
for to record some tip formula yet a foe gait was flattering good.
This, total with a right strategy, authorised Marco and Philipp to
make adult some places and measure some points by finishing fifth and
seventh. That was a certain aspect. We were concerned in a lot of
battles that a spectators desired to see yet indeed cost us a lot of
time. Unfortunately, Augusto’s foe came to a beforehand end, that was
not his fault. Who knows what might have been probable otherwise. Misano
sees a DTM entering uncharted domain again and we will work hard
to make certain we are fighting to secure a win once more.”

Stefan Reinhold (Team Principal BMW Team
RMG):
“Compared to yesterday, we were means to urge in
some areas. We sealed a opening to a foe in qualifying.
Unfortunately, that was not reflected in a positions. You could see
that we were a bit off a gait for a whole weekend. It’s a
formidable lane to pass on. We had a right plan with Marco.
Augusto was positively not during error for his accident. That was a large shame.”

Marco Wittmann (#11 BMW Driving Experience M4 DTM, BMW Team
RMG – subordinate result: 9th place, foe result:
5th place, points: 110):

“All things considered, we am flattering pleased. we consider that a whole
weekend showed that we are not utterly during Mercedes’ pace. That was
reflected in a subordinate results. We done a best of it. We
started good and we were flattering propitious with all a incidents – that
was a close-run thing! We had a good foe plan and, above all, a
unequivocally quick array stop. we am utterly gratified for my guys, who are
doing a unequivocally good pursuit with a array stops right now. we had to defend
flattering tough opposite Mike Rockefeller during a end, yet it was just
enough. Fifth place is softened than expected; we am unequivocally pleased.”

Augusto Farfus (#15 Shell BMW M4 DTM, BMW Team RMG –
subordinate result: 7th place, foe result: DNF, points: 40):

“Lucas Auer and Robin Frijns were unequivocally concerned in a battle. we got
drawn into it and afterwards my hands were tied. Frijns was also incompetent to
do anything, as we clipped him. After that, we could frequency continue. We
were still anticipating for some sleet yet it never came.”

Timo Glock (#16 DEUTSCHE POST BMW M4 DTM, BMW Team RMR –
subordinate result: 13th place, foe result:
11th place, points: 101):

“We had hoped for a rather softened foe result. Starting from 13th
place wasn’t ideal yet a foe gait softened a lot from yesterday.
Unfortunately, a resources of today’s foe meant that we could
not modify that good gait into a together good result. We will
continue to work tough and we will be behind with a crash during Misano.”

Bart Mampaey (Team Principal BMW Team RBM):

“Everyone’s plan showed that we were awaiting some sleet before
a finish yet that wasn’t to be. There was a lot of movement on a track
and a drivers were propitious to shun unscathed. we am unequivocally gratified with
a array stops. Philipp finished seventh. We are always carefree of
doing a bit softened than seventh. Now we have to work tough and make
certain that we have some-more cars during Misano that can assistance us get behind into
a points.”

Bruno Spengler (#7 BMW Bank M4 DTM, BMW Team RBM – qualifying
result: 18th place, foe result: 14th place,
points: 43):
“Unfortunately, we were incompetent to solve
yesterday’s change and setup problems overnight. For a subsequent race,
we have to analyse a causes and try to improve. All in all, this
wasn’t unequivocally a weekend I’d been anticipating for.”

Philipp Eng (#25 SAMSUNG BMW M4 DTM, BMW Team RMR – qualifying
result: 10th place, foe result: 7th place,
points: 83):

“Moving adult from tenth to seventh isn’t a bad result. we can be pleased
with that. It’s a contrition that we couldn’t reason on to sixth place. we am
gratified with a weekend though. We gave it everything. Now we am
looking brazen to Misano.”

Joel Eriksson (#47 BMW M4 DTM, BMW Team RBM – qualifying
result: 16th place, foe result: 14th place,
points: 27):

“It wasn’t a easiest start, or a best. It was wily in all that
trade and we had a conflict with Robin Frijns. we consider a array stop was
unequivocally good. We were means to make adult some places after that. This was my
initial expostulate during this circuit, so it was utterly formidable for me. Now I
am looking brazen to a subsequent foe weekend.”
