Mazda Canada reports sales for Jul 2016

RICHMOND HILL, ON, Aug. 4, 2016 /CNW/ – Mazda Canada Inc. (MCI) currently reported Jul sales of 5,909 vehicles, representing a diminution of 15.6 percent contra final year. Year-to-date (YTD) sales by Jul are down 4.2 percent contra final year, with 40,200 vehicles sold.

Key July 2016 sales notes:

  • The all-new 2016 CX-9 continues to post clever sales, with a year-over-year (YOY) boost of 200.0 percent.
  • MCI’s best-selling indication continues to be a Mazda3, with 2,356 vehicles sole in July.
  • Mazda CX-5 continues to be MCI’s second-best-selling model, with 1,991 vehicles sold, while a CX-3 stays a third top seller in a Mazda lineup, with 855 units sold.
  • Demand for a new MX-5 continues, with YTD sales adult by 111.5 percent.
  • SKYACTIV Technology proves to be a pivotal between opening and fuel potency as business direct a no concede solution. 96.0 percent of Mazda vehicles sole in Jul were versed with SKYACTIV Technology.
