Mazda Canada reports sales for Jun 2016

RICHMOND HILL, ON, July 4, 2016 /CNW/ – Mazda Canada Inc. (MCI) currently reported Jun sales of 6,728 vehicles, representing a diminution of 2.2 percent contra final year. Year-to-date (YTD) sales by Jun are down 1.9 percent contra final year, with 34,291 vehicles sold.

Key June 2016 sales notes:

  • The all-new 2016 CX-9 is off to a prohibited start with a best month of sales ever, with a year-over-year (YOY) boost of 305.2 percent.
  • MCI’s best-selling indication continues to be a Mazda3, with 2,832 vehicles sole in June.
  • Mazda CX-5 had a best Jun sales ever with 2,281 vehicles sold, that is an boost of 22.0 percent contra June 2015. The CX-5 has now constructed 13 true months of record YOY sales.
  • Mazda’s subcompact CX-3 sole 783 vehicles in June, and is a third top seller in a Mazda lineup, behind a Mazda3 and CX-5.  
  • With a new CX-9 fasten a ranks, Mazda’s line of CX crossover vehicles continue a clever expansion trend, with YOY sales augmenting by 24.7 percent in June. 
  • Demand for a new MX-5 continues to soar, with a best Jun sales given 2008. YTD sales of a MX-5 are now adult by 133.8 percent.
  • SKYACTIV Technology proves to be a pivotal between opening and fuel potency as business direct a no concede solution. 97.3 percent of Mazda vehicles sole in Jun were versed with SKYACTIV Technology.
