Mazda Canada reports sales for Oct 2016

RICHMOND HILL, ON, Nov. 1, 2016 /CNW/ – Mazda Canada Inc. (MCI) currently reported Oct sales of  5,999 vehicles, representing a diminution of 3.4 percent contra final year. Year-to-date (YTD) sales by Oct are down 4.6 percent contra final year, with 58,758 vehicles sold.

Key October 2016 sales notes:

  • CX-9 sales jumped 200.0 percent year-over-year (YOY), with a best Oct sales given 2012.
  • Three months in a quarrel creates a trend, as a best-selling indication was a CX-5, once again forward of a Mazda3.
  • Mazda CX-5 had a best Oct sales month ever with 2,410 vehicles sold, that is an boost of 18.7 percent contra October 2015.
  • Mazda’s subcompact CX-3 sole 779 vehicles in October, and is a third top seller in a Mazda lineup, behind a CX-5 and Mazda3.  
  • With a new CX-9 in a ranks, Mazda’s line of CX crossover vehicles continues a clever expansion trend, with YTD sales to a upside by 23.6 percent.   
  • SKYACTIV Technology proves to be a pivotal between opening and fuel potency as business direct a no concede solution. 98.1 percent of Mazda vehicles sole in Oct were versed with SKYACTIV Technology.
