Mazda Canada reports sales for Sep 2016

RICHMOND HILL, ON, Oct. 3, 2016 /CNW/ – Mazda Canada Inc. (MCI) currently reported Sep sales of 6,013 vehicles, representing a diminution of 9.4 percent contra final year. Year-to-date (YTD) sales by Sep are down 4.8 percent contra final year, with 52,759 vehicles sold.

Key September 2016 sales notes:

  • The all-new 2016 CX-9 available a best Sep sales ever with 182, augmenting 82.0 percent year-over-year (YOY).
  • For a second time in as many months, a best-selling indication was a CX-5, putting a Mazda3 into second place.
  • Mazda CX-5 had a best Sep sales month ever with 2,385 vehicles sold, that is an boost of 12.3 percent contra September 2015.
  • Mazda’s subcompact CX-3 sole 819 vehicles in September, and is a third top seller in a Mazda lineup, behind a CX-5 and Mazda3.  
  • With a new CX-9 in a ranks, Mazda’s line of CX crossover vehicles continues a clever expansion trend, with YTD sales to a upside by 25.8 percent.   
  • SKYACTIV Technology proves to be a pivotal between opening and fuel potency as business direct a no concede solution. 97.6 percent of Mazda vehicles sole in Sep were versed with SKYACTIV Technology.
