New executive appointments in Finance at Bentley, Volkswagen Group China and Volkswagen do Brasil

Dr. Jörg Mull, currently Executive Vice President, Finance at Volkswagen Group China, has been appointed Board Member for Finance, IT and Business Development at Bentley Motors and Finance Director of Bugatti S.A.S. effective September 1, 2014. He succeeds Jan-Henrik Lafrentz, who moves to MAN Truck Bus AG to take up the post of Executive Board Member for Finance, IT and Legal Affairs. The new Executive Vice President, Finance at Volkswagen Group China effective October 1, 2014 is Carsten Isensee, currently Board Member for Finance at Volkswagen do Brasil. His successor there is Osmair Antonio Herreria Garcia.

Dr. Jörg Mull (48) holds a doctorate in economics and worked in Singapore and Tokyo from 1996 to 2002, when he moved to Volkswagen Aktiengesellschaft in Wolfsburg to assume responsibility for the pricing of product projects. He was appointed Head of Development Controlling in 2006 before being named Executive Vice President, Finance at Volkswagen Group China in 2007. “Through his commitment, Dr. Mull has contributed significantly to Volkswagen’s positive development in China”, Prof. Dr. Jochem Heizmann, Member of the Board of Management of Volkswagen Aktiengesellschaft and President and CEO of Volkswagen Group China, underscored. “In a challenging market environment, I personally greatly valued his outstanding expert advice, not just on financial matters.”

Jan-Henrik Lafrentz (47) holds a degree in business administration and joined the Group in 1994. After holding several senior management posts, including Head of Controlling for Audi’s subsidiary companies, he was appointed Executive Vice President Finance at SEAT in 2004, becoming Executive Vice President Sales and Marketing in 2009. He was named Board Member for Finance, IT and Business Development at Bentley Motors Crewe/United Kingdom in 2010 and Finance Director of Bugatti Automobiles S.A.S., Molsheim/France in 2011.

Carsten Isensee (54) holds a degree in business administration and has been with the Volkswagen Group since 1987. Following posts in Controlling in Wolfsburg, he was named Board Member for Finance at Volkswagen Slovakia in 1992. He was Finance Director at Volkswagen South Africa from 2002, and appointed Board Member for Finance at Volkswagen do Brasil in 2007. “We are delighted to be welcoming Mr. Isensee, an expert on the world of international finance, to strengthen our team in China”, Prof. Dr. Heizmann emphasized. “I am convinced the experience he gained during his time in management at various international locations in our Group has given him the intercultural sensitivity needed for his new tasks.”

Osmair Antonio Herreria Garcia (51) holds degrees in business management and business finance. He joined the Volkswagen Group in 1985 to work for Volkswagen do Brasil. Since then, he has held various management functions in Controlling. He was appointed Head of Corporate Controlling at Volkswagen do Brasil in 2006.
