Nissan: 2011 Nissan LEAF (ZE0)

Nissan LEAF (Leading Environmentally-friendly Affordable Family car) became the first mass produced, mass marketed, affordable all-Electric vehicle in history, going on sale in December, 2010. The roomy hatchback features seating for five and all the amenities of internal combustion vehicles with far lower maintenance and “fuel” costs. LEAF is still the world leader in EV sales, with more than 250,000 sold through 2016.

Made only in Oppama, Japan until 2012, then production expanded to Smyrna, Tennessee, Sunderland, UK and Guangdong, China in early 2013. This vehicle is an early production model in Caribbean Blue, a color intended only for Auto shows but was brought into production by popular demand.
