Nissan: Countdown underway for NISMO Festival during Fuji Speedway in Japan

OYAMA, Japan Nissan has kicked off a countdown to NISMO Festival during Japan’s Fuji International Speedway upheld by Motul.

Held on Dec 11, this will be a 19th using of NISMO Festival that brings together a stars and cars from Nissan’s tellurian motorsport activities – both past and present.

To commemorate a 50th anniversary of Fuji Speedway, selected Nissan competition cars with story on a circuit will be on arrangement and run on a course.

Along with this, now active Nissan competition automobile drivers from Japan and abroad, group principals and mythological former drivers will intersect on Fuji to take partial in fan events and designation sessions.

To commemorate a finish of deteriorate event, NISMO has commenced a #NISMOmemts countdown on amicable media – highlighting 23 pivotal achievements from a 2016 deteriorate on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

Star drivers on site will embody Super GT GT500 2016 competition winners Tsugio Matsuda, Ronnie Quintarelli, JP de Oliveira, Hironobu Yasuda, Masataka Yanagida and Daiki Sasaki. Additionally, GT Academy ace Jann Mardenborough, former GT1 World Championship leader Michael Krumm, and mythological Nissan racers Yoshikazu Sunako, Moto Kitano, Haruhito Yanagida, Takao Wada, Toshio Suzuki, Masahiro Hasemi and Kazuyoshi Hoshino will be there.

Cars on lane and on arrangement will embody subsequent year’s new Nissan GT-R NISMO GT500 Super GT entry, a 2015 championship winning GT-R GT500, a Spa-Francorchamps 24 Hour 1991 Skyline GT-R competition winner, and a GT1 2011 World Championship-winning GT-R. A horde other tip Nissan performers – including Super GT, 24 Hours of Le Mans, Group C sportscar and Group A furloughed automobile contenders – will also be on display.
