Nissan: Huge weekend looms for NISMO athletes in Japan, Europe and Australia

NISMO competition fans have a bustling weekend forward from Aug 27 to 28, with competition movement kicking off in Japan, Europe and Australia.

The Suzuka 1000km Super GT eventuality will be hold this weekend during a home of a Japanese Formula 1 Grand Prix in Japan.

One of a many prestigious races on a Super GT calendar, Nissan will be looking to continue a dominant run in GT500 in 2016 – a GT-R carrying won all 4 races contested so distant this year.

 

Last year, a championship-winning GT-R of Tsugio Matsuda and Ronnie Quintarelli started from stick during Suzuka; in GT300 action, Katsumasa Chiyo, André Couto and Ryuichiro Tomita took a competition victory.

In Europe, a subsequent turn of a Blancpain GT Series Sprint Cup is scheduled for a Hungaroring. Lucas Ordóñez will supplement a scurry competition weekend to his Endurance Cup duties this week, stepping in alongside Alex Buncombe while Mitsunori Takaboshi competes in Suzuka as a third motorist in a No.46 GT-R in GT500.

Sean Walkinshaw and Ricardo Sanchez will do conflict aboard a No.22 GT-R GT3 entrance in Hungary.

The European Le Mans Series earnings to Circuit Paul Ricard this week with 11 LM P2 Nissan-powered prototypes fasten 20 Nissan-powered LM P3 entries.

Renault-Nissan contestant Andrea Pizzitola earnings for his second tour for Algarve Pro Racing, while NISMO contestant Harry Tincknell continues his championship assign for G-Drive Racing – entering this weekend with an 8 indicate lead in a championship.

In Australia, Nissan Motorsport will finish a final Super Sprint turn during Sydney Motorsports Park, before famous as Eastern Creek Raceway.

The Sydney eventuality is a final scurry turn of a year before a continuation battles flog off subsequent month during Sandown, Bathurst and a Gold Coast.
