Since winning GT Academy Europe in Aug 2014, Paletou has been on Nissan’s complete motorist growth program, a same module that prepared Jann Mardenborough for GP3 and Lucas Ordóñez for Super GT.  He raced a Nissan 370Z to countless victories in bar races to obtain his racing permit in time to contest during a 2015 Dubai 24 Hours in a Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3.

Paletou was a pivotal member of a all-gamer pushing patrol that took fifth place altogether and second in category during a Dubai 24 Hours in Jan before starting coexisting racing seasons in GT3 (Blancpain Endurance Series) and LM P3 (European Le Mans Series).

He has done a category quicker than any GT Academy connoisseur before him.

When he was told he could be racing a Greaves Motorsport Gibson-Nissan LM P2 automobile during Le Mans, Paletou was astounded to contend a least:

“I unequivocally don’t know what to contend – Le Mans!” pronounced Paletou. “This was totally unexpected, and we overtly suspicion that Darren (Cox) was personification a pretence on me, like on one of those TV shows.  we dreamt of racing during Le Mans as a child though we didn’t design to ever competition there. we adore pushing a LM P2 car, and we unequivocally like a guys during Greaves, so this is going to be a good knowledge for me. It is distant too shortly to pronounce about expectations. we only wish to go there and do a best pursuit we can.”

“One thing that each connoisseur of GT Academy learns really fast is that this is not a giveaway ride, so to speak,” pronounced Darren Cox, Global Head of Brand, Marketing Sales, NISMO. “We pull a graduates tough around a motorist growth program, that gets stronger and worse each year. We have given Gaetan all a subsidy and a training he needs, and he has valid to us that he is prepared for Le Mans. Le Mans is a world’s biggest race, and it happens to be in France. For a Frenchman like Gaetan to make a transition from virtual-to-reality in reduction than a year, and competition during Le Mans, is an implausible achievement.  He has rubbed all we have thrown during him so far, so we have comprehensive faith in his ability to do a good pursuit during Le Mans.”

Paletou finished his 10 imperative rookie laps of Le Mans behind a circle of a Greaves Gibson-Nissan LM P2 automobile during a central Le Mans Test Day final weekend.
