Nissan: Nissan announces management changes for U.S. sales and marketing team

NASHVILLE, Tenn. Nissan is announcing several management changes within its U.S. sales and marketing organization.

“These leadership changes will help us maintain the momentum that made Nissan the fastest growing brand in America in 2016,” said Christian Meunier, senior vice president, Sales Marketing and Operations, Nissan North America, Inc. and Chairman, Nissan Canada.

Bart Buttles, director, Nissan Sales Operations, is promoted to regional vice president, Central Region. He will oversee Nissan’s seven-state Central Region, which is headquartered in Irving, Texas.

Dawn Mitchell, area general manager, Nissan Southeast Region, is promoted to regional vice president, Mid-Atlantic Region. Dawn will have responsibility for the six-state Mid-Atlantic region, which is headquartered in Reston, Virginia.

Effective July 1, Buttles and Mitchell will be responsible for regional sales, marketing, contest and incentive spending, distribution, aftersales, dealer network development, financial controls and dealer and customer satisfaction for the Nissan Division in their respective region.

Arcangelo Lofaro, senior manager, Nissan Sales Planning, replaces Buttles as director, Nissan Sales Operations.

Effective July 17, Robert Cross, currently global media managing director, Red Fuse/MEC, will join Nissan as director, Marketing Media and Activation. Cross brings extensive experience in global network management, agency operations and integrated campaign development. With 20 years of media experience, Cross has held roles within media, creative and integrated agency structures.
