Nissan: Nissan Group reports February Canadian sales


MISSISSAUGA, ONT.
– Nissan Group today announced total Canadian sales for February of 7,919 units, an increase of 16.4 per cent and a February record. This sales achievement marks 19 consecutive months of record sales growth for the Nissan Group in Canada.

The Nissan brand increased 20 per cent with 7,213 units sold, setting a February sales record. The Infiniti brand reported sales of 706 vehicles in February, a decrease of 11.2 per cent.

Nissan Division February highlights:

  • Best February on record for the Nissan Division at 7,213 sales, an increase of 20 per cent.
  • In its second full month in dealerships, sales of the all-new Nissan Murano crossover increased 103 per cent with 557 units sold.
  • The Nissan Rogue crossover set a February sales record with 1,891 units sold, marking 15 consecutive months of record sales.
  • Sentra compact sedan sales increased 16 per cent to 1,071 units.
  • Sales of the JUKE sport crossover and Pathfinder sport utility vehicle in February were up 18 and 30 per cent, respectively.
  • Sales of the Nissan Micra subcompact totalled 758 units in February.

Infiniti Division February highlights:

  • Infiniti reported sales of 706 vehicles during February.
