Nissan: Nissan Group reports October 2016 Canadian sales

Mississauga, Ont. – Nissan Group today announced monthly Canadian sales of 10,584 units, a decrease of 8.2 per cent over last year. Calendar year-to-date sales are up 3.5 per cent.

Nissan brand sales totaled 9,277 units, a decrease of 9.9 per cent year-over-year. Calendar year-to-date sales are up 3.3 per cent.  Infiniti brand sales recorded a new all-time sales record with 1,307 units sold, an increase of 6.0 per cent. Calendar year-to-date, sales for Infiniti are up 5.6 per cent.

Nissan Division October highlights:

  • Nissan Rogue crossover set a new October sales record at 3,479 units sold, an increase of 8.6 per cent.
  • The all-new Armada full-size sport utility vehicle recorded its best October with 91 units sold, an increase of 78.4 per cent.
  • Sales of the Nissan Altima increased 22.6 per cent this month with 576 units sold.
  • Nissan LEAF fully-electric car set an October sales record with 132 units sold, an increase of 16.8 per cent. This marks eight months of consecutive sales growth for the Nissan LEAF.

Infiniti October highlights:

  • Infiniti reported sales of 1,307 units, an increase of 6.0 per cent versus a year earlier, and a new all-time sales record.
  • The Infiniti QX60 luxury crossover recorded its best sales month ever with 441 deliveries, an increase of 4.0 per cent.
  • The Infiniti QX80 full-size luxury SUV set an October sales records with 84 units sold.
