Mississauga, Ont. – Today, Nissan Group announced total Canadian sales of 13,163 units for August 2017, an increase of 14.4 per cent and an August sales record. The Nissan Division also set an August sales record with 11,970 units sold, an increase of 13.8 per cent, and INFINITI set an August sales record with 1,193 units sold, an increase of 20.9 per cent.
Nissan Division highlights:
- Sales of the new 2017 Nissan Qashqai sub-compact SUV were strong with 1,557 units sold in its third full month of sales.
- Nissan’s best-selling vehicle in Canada, the Nissan Rogue crossover, continues to see strong sales in August with 3,702 units sold.
- Nissan TITAN full-size pickup truck set an August sales record with 784 units sold.
- The Murano crossover set an August sales record with 1,285 units sold, an increase of 6.8 per cent.
- The Armada flagship sport utility vehicle recorded 86 units sold, an August sales record.
- The NV200 compact cargo recorded 150 units sold, an increase of 45.6 per cent and an August sales record.
- Sales of the NCV increased 81.0 per cent this month with 76 units sold.
- The 370Z sports car recorded 111 units sold, an increase 37.0 per cent this month.
INFINITI highlights:
- The 7-passenger QX60 premium crossover continues to be INFINITI’s best-seller with 406 units sold this month, up 3.3 per cent and an August sales record.
- The QX80 premium SUV recorded 87 units sold, an increase of 6.1 per cent and an August sales record.
- After its first full year of sales, the new QX30 premium active crossover set an August sales record with 88 units sold.
- The Q60 premium sports coupe continues to grow in popularity recording sales of 91 units in August.
