Nissan: Nissan Group reports September 2018 Canadian sales

Mississauga, Ont. – Today, Nissan Group announced total Canadian sales of 13,373 units for September 2018, a decrease of 0.5 per cent. Nissan Division recorded September sales of 11,929 units, down 2.3 per cent. INFINITI had its best month of sales ever with 1,444 units sold, representing an increase of 18.2 per cent from 2017.

Nissan Division highlights:

  • The Rogue crossover remain’s Nissan’s best-selling vehicle in Canada with 3,467 vehicles sold in September.
  • Sales of the Nissan Qashqai compact crossover increased by 15.3 per cent, representing  its best September ever with 1,790 units sold.
  • The Nissan LEAF electric vehicle reached a record milestone in Canada with 10,000 total units sold since its launch in July 2011. With 605 units sold, this marks the best September ever.
  • Since launching in May 2018, the Nissan Kicks compact crossover continues to see strong growth with 755 vehicles sold in September.
  • The Nissan Armada full-sized sport utility vehicle had its best September ever with 184 units sold, an increase of 93.7 per cent year-over-year.

INFINITI highlights:

  • The all-new 2019 QX50 luxury crossover recorded its best month of sales ever with 423 units sold, an increase of 120.3 per cent.
  • The QX60 7-passenger luxury crossover remains INFINITI’s best-selling vehicle recording it’s best September ever with 537 units sold, an increase of 2.3 per cent.
  • The QX80 full-size, luxury sport utility vehicle had its best September ever with 118 units sold, an increase of 40.5 per cent.
