Nissan: Nissan JUKE “Stinger Edition by Color Studio” models add personal touch straight from the showroom floor

LOS ANGELES – The boldly styled Nissan JUKE is a vehicle that is hard to ignore. A true sport cross in a segment of lookalike compact crossovers, JUKE stands out with its unique exterior and interior design. For the 2015 model year Nissan introduced “Color Studio,” a program that allows owners to personalize their vehicles through thousands of combinations of special color accessories – including wheels, spoiler, door handles, mirrors and interior accents. The program has been so successful that Color Studio is now expanding to include the popular Versa Note.

And now, Nissan is bringing the spirit of Color Studio vehicle personalization into dealer showrooms with the arrival of two limited production JUKE models – the Black Stinger Edition by Color Studio and Yellow Stinger Edition by Color Studio. Both feature an exclusive yellow interior, including JUKE’s signature painted center console. The Stinger Edition Packages are offered as options on the JUKE SV grade and will be available beginning in January 2016.

The Yellow Stinger Edition features black-painted outside mirrors, door handles, rear spoiler; black-painted 17-inch aluminum-alloy wheels; yellow-painted front and rear bumper accents; yellow-colored center console, power window switch plates, air vent rings, steering wheel stitching, shift knob accent; black seats with yellow accents and stitching; and black/yellow cloth door trim inserts.

“While many buyers enjoy the ability to custom configure their JUKE through the seemingly endless combinations of colors and accessories available through Color Studio, we’ve taken two of our most popular colors – yellow and black – and most frequently ordered accessories and packaged them into these two special Stinger Editions,” said Pierre Loing, vice president, Product Planning, Nissan North America, Inc.

The Stinger Edition option package has a Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (M.S.R.P.)* of $990 USD. The 2016 JUKE SV is priced at $22,300 USD for the front-wheel drive model and $24,150 USD for the all-wheel drive model.

To complement the Stinger Edition, there are additional Color Studio black or yellow accessories, including a hatch handle finisher, lower hatch accent, side door sills, headlight trim rings, floor mats and yellow center wheel caps.

“With limited production of the 2016 JUKE Stinger Editions by Color Studio, we expect them to sell quickly,” added Loing. “JUKE buyers are not afraid of standing out and these two Stinger Editions are about as bold as you can go.”

The original JUKE Color Studio palette of colors and custom accessories also continues for the 2016 model year. Once again eight colors are available – Red, Yellow, Orange, White, Matte Black, Electric Blue, Black Purple and Carbon-fiber Look – and a total of 12 accessories, giving owners the option of creating a vehicle that is a unique expression of their style and personality.

Color Studio accessories are sold individually and can be included in vehicle financing or lease payments. For full details on the JUKE Color Studio program, please visit NissanNews.com

About the 2016 Nissan JUKE
Since its launch for the 2011 model year, the Nissan JUKE has stood out from the crowd with its fiercely sculpted headlights and hood, muscular lines, hidden rear door handles and fluid rear hatchback design. Just last year, JUKE’s bold style was enhanced with new front and rear fascias, headlights and taillights and Nissan’s signature boomerang-shaped combination lamps that further pushed the boundaries of its signature premium and sporty performance cues.

Inside, the distinctive JUKE interior continues to combine bold design with traditional hatchback functionality. The sporty front bucket seats – available in a choice of fabric or leather appointments – frame the unique motorcycle tank-inspired center console. In the rear is a 60/40-split fold-down bench seat.

New for 2016 is standard Siri™ Eyes Free, which makes it easy to make and receive calls, read and send text messages and emails, select and play music from a compatible device, read notifications, request directions and more. Also new for 2016 is the Stinger Edition by Color Studio, available in Black or Yellow on the SV grade.

The 2016 Nissan JUKE is offered in a range of five exciting models – S, SV, SL, NISMO and NISMO RS. Each grade level is available in All-Wheel Drive or Front-Wheel Drive. For full information on the complete lineup of 2016 Nissan JUKE models, please visit www.NissanNews.com.
