YOKOHAMA, Japan – Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. currently announced a production, sales and trade total for Dec 2014 and calendar year 2014.

1. Production
December

Sales in Japan, including mini-vehicles, declined 16.2% year-on-year to 38,718 units.

Vehicle registrations in Japan were down 22.4% year-on-year to 24,378 units.

Mini-vehicle sales in Japan decreased 3.0% year-on-year to 14,340 units.

Sales outward of Japan were adult 5.4% year-on-year to 435,986 units, imprinting a record high for December.

In a U.S., sales increasing 6.9% year-on-year to 117,318 units, especially due to an boost in sales volume for a Altima, Sentra, and Nissan LEAF, imprinting an all-time sales record for a month of December.
