Nissan: Nissan production, sales and trade formula for Feb 2016

YOKOHAMA, Japan – Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. currently announced a production, sales and trade total for Feb 2016.

1. Production

Japan:

  • Vehicle registrations increasing 2.4 percent year-on-year to 41,290 units.
  • Mini-vehicle sales decreased 11.5 percent year-on-year to 21,582 units.

 

Sales outward Japan increasing 1.1 percent year-on-year to 355,813 units, a tenth uninterrupted month of increase.

In a U.S., sales increasing 10.5 percent year-on-year to 130,911 units, a record for a month of February.

In Mexico, sales increasing 12.9 percent year-on-year to 28,691 units, a record for a month of February.

In Europe, sales increasing 0.6 percent year-on-year to 59,049 units, a record for a month of February.

In China, sales decreased 13.0 percent year-on-year to 61,099 units.

Sales in other regions decreased 5.8 percent year-on-year to 66,935 units.

3. Exports from Japan
Exports in Feb decreased 16.2 percent year-on-year to 42,010 units, a third uninterrupted month of decrease.
