Nissan: Nissan Production, Sales and Export Results for Oct 2013

YOKOHAMA, Japan – Nissan Motor Corporation has announced a production, sales and trade total for Oct 2013.

1. Production
Nissan’s tellurian prolongation in Oct increasing 13.3% year-on-year to 465,494 units, imprinting an all-time record for a month of October.

Production in Japan was down 19.4% year-on-year to 81,274 units, especially due to decreased volume caused by a change in prolongation plcae of Rogue for trade to North America.

Production outward of Japan increasing 23.9% year-on-year to 384,220 units, imprinting an all-time record.

In a U.S., prolongation increasing 30.0% year-on-year to 78,737 units, imprinting an all-time record for a month of October. This was especially due to increasing direct for a new Rogue, Sentra and Nissan LEAF, as good as a reduce volume in Oct 2012 caused by a credentials to send prolongation of some models.

In Mexico, prolongation increasing 0.1% year-on-year to 65,878 units, imprinting an all-time record.

In a U.K., prolongation increasing 5.0% year-on-year to 52,407 units, especially due to a increasing direct for a new Note, imprinting an all-time record.

In Spain, prolongation decreased 16.6% year-on-year to 11,412 units.

Production in other regions decreased 2.1% year-on-year to 57,607 units.

2. Sales
Global sales increasing 21.0% year-on-year to 413,971 units, imprinting an all-time record for a month of October.

Including mini-vehicles, Nissan sole 51,058 units in Japan, adult 14.7% year-on-year.

In Japan, car registrations in Oct decreased 2.2% year-on-year to 33,990 units.

Mini-vehicle sales in Japan increasing 74.7% year-on-year to 17,068 units, imprinting an all-time record for a month of October. This is especially attributable to clever sales of a new DAYZ, that went on sale on June.

Sales outward of Japan increasing 22.0 % year-on-year to 362,913 units, imprinting an all-time record for a month of October.

Sales in a U.S. increasing 14.2% year-on-year to 91,018 units, especially due to aloft direct for Rogue, Pathfinder, and Sentra, imprinting an all-time record for a month of October.

Sales in Mexico increasing 8.0% year-on-year to 21,860 units, imprinting an all-time record for a month of October. This has done Nissan a sales personality in Mexico for 53 uninterrupted months.

In Europe, sales increasing 6.6% year-on-year to 54,519 units, especially due to increasing sales of a new Note and a updated Micra.

In China, sales increasing 127.8% year-on-year to 114,700 units, especially due to increasing direct for a Sylphy array and Qashqai, imprinting an all-time record for a month of October.

Sales in other regions decreased 4.6% year-on-year to 72,258 units.

3. Japan Exports
Nissan’s exports in Oct decreased 14.4% year-on-year to 49,774 units.

Exports to North America decreased 11.5% year-on-year to 35,448 units.
