Nissan Production, Sales, Export Results for Jul 2011

Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. currently announced a production, sales and trade total for Jul 2011.

1. Production
Nissan’s tellurian prolongation in Jul increasing 17.6% year-on-year to 388,680 units, imprinting an all-time record for a month of July.

Including mini-vehicles, Nissan sole 52,287 units in Japan, down 17.3% year-on-year, due to effects of a trembler on Mar 11 and a stop of a supervision funding module for environmentally-friendly vehicles.

In Japan, car registrations in Jul decreased 17.6% year-on-year to 41,806 units, notwithstanding increasing direct for a new Lafesta Highway Star.

Domestic sales of mini-vehicles were down 16.1% from a prior year, to 10,481 units.

Sales outward of Japan increasing 13.7% year-on-year to 326,592 units, imprinting an all-time record for a month of July.

In Europe, sales increasing 16.0% year-on-year to 55,065 units, due to auspicious sales in Russia and increasing direct for Juke.

In China, sales saw an boost of 26.0% year-on-year to 100,115 units, especially due to increasing direct for Sunny and Qashqai, imprinting an all-time record for a month of July.

Sales in other regions increasing 13.9% year-on-year to 62,474 units, especially due to increasing direct in Indonesia and Brazil.

3. Japan Exports
Nissan’s exports in Jul increasing 23.2% year-on-year to 69,206 units.

Exports to North America increasing 35.1% year-on-year to 40,000 units, especially due to increasing direct for Rogue and Juke.

Exports to Europe increasing 64.2% year-on-year to 10,188 units, especially due to increasing direct for X-Trail and Juke.
