Nissan: Shishir Bhushan

Shishir Bhushan is vice president, Operations, for Nissan Motor Acceptance Corporation (NMAC), a position to which he was appointed in April 2019. In this role, Bhushan is responsible for managing NMAC’s day-to-day operations focusing on growth, strategic planning and goal setting, and directing the NMAC business in support of its goals.

Previously, Bhushan was managing director, Nissan Renault Financial Services India.

Since joining Nissan in June of 2007, Bhushan has held roles of increasing responsibility within Nissan’s global sales finance organization, including Treasurer for Europe and Nissan North America, and vice president, Operations, for Nissan Canada Finance.

Prior to joining Nissan, Bhushan was with Capital One for five years and held various positions within their capital markets and operations teams. He also worked with Electronic Data Systems for five years as Project Manager, systems and automation.

Bhushan holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, and a MBA from the Robert H. Smith School of Business. He is based in Dallas, Texas.
