Nissan: Strong performances for NISMO athletes in Sonoma and Austin

SONOMA, Calif. and AUSTIN, Tex. – It was a bustling weekend in a U.S. with a Pirelli World Challenge array rebellious Sonoma Raceway in California and a FIA World Endurance Championship streamer to Austin’s Circuit of The Americas in Texas.

The Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3 span of Bryan Heitkotter and James Davison did conflict in Sonoma for Always Evolving/Aim Autorsport.



Last turn double leader Heitkotter scored a seventh and fifth in a dual races while Davison was 11th and seventh.

For Heitkotter, a outcome came a week after won his seventh National Solo Championship in a Nissan 350Z in a Street Touring Ultra class.

The Always Evolving/Aim Autorsport group now has one some-more turn remaining – also in a San Francisco area – this time south of a brook in Monterey during Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca from Oct 7-9.



Also final weekend, a FIA World Endurance Championship conflict headed to Texas with teams fighting blisteringly prohibited conditions.

Signatech Alpine scored a fourth win of 2016 after subordinate on stick and winning a competition in a LM P2 category – all of that have Nissan energy for 2016.

The Le Mans-winning contingent of Nicolas Lapierre, Stephane Richelmi and American motorist Gustavo Menezes took a win.

The lectern was finished by Mexico winners RGR competition with Bruno Senna, Filipe Albuquerque and Ricardo Gonzalez and a G-Drive Racing contingent of Rene Rast, Alex Brundle and Romain Rusinov who battled from a back of a grid to make a podium.
