“I’m very happy to be able to produce great results of two wins,” said Sasaki. “I fell behind our rivals at Suzuka, so I was determined to get ahead of them this time. On Saturday we were able to show total strength of the team by finishing 1-2 with my team mate Jann Mardenborough.”
Sasaki, Mardenborough and Chiyo now sit second, third and fifth in the points after the opening two weekends in the championship.
