Nissan: Tom F. Smith

Tom F. Smith is vice president, Program Management Office Vehicle Connected Services, Nissan North America, Inc., a position to which he was appointed in April 2017. In this role, Smith reports to Scott Becker, senior vice president, Administration, Nissan North America, and is responsible for activities across the North American Region to ensure that profitability targets are achieved across product lines and Nissan’s mobility strategy is successfully implemented.

Previously, Smith was INFINITI Overseas Program Director. He joined Nissan Motor Company, Ltd. in February 2005, and has held a number of roles of increasing importance throughout Nissan’s operations, including Chief Marketing Officer in Europe and in the U.S. Prior to joining Nissan he worked at several OEMs in marketing functions.

Smith holds a bachelor’s degree in business and Asian studies from Trinity University and a master’s degree in business from Japan America Institute Management Science (JAIMS). He is based in Franklin, Tennessee.
