Projection mapping the story of Canadian F-Series drivers

For Ford engineers, everything starts with a line. Each design and innovation begins with a simple line and grows and transforms into something amazing.

For more than fifty years, Ford F-Series pickups have been the number one choice of Canadians to handle all of their hard work, heavy lifting, and the challenges of family life. It goes beyond horsepower, torque, and hauling capabilities – it’s woven into the fabric of Canadian life.

The all-new 2017 Ford F-Series Super Duty is no different – it began with a line and ended up the ultimate tool for the toughest jobs, no matter the conditions. Like every F-Series truck, it’s ready for anything life throws your way.

That’s why we took the smartest, toughest, most capable Super Duty ever and matched its technological innovation with some of our own.

Using a series of state-of-the-art projections and a room full of specialist technicians, we turned the military-grade aluminum alloy body of the 2017 Super Duty F350 into the ultimate canvas to tell some of the the stories of Canadian F-Series drivers.

We worked with award-winning Canadian artist Marcos Chin to design these unforgettable images, transferring them from his mind, to his sketches, and then through his stylus and tablet directly onto the truck body, creating this never-before-seen visual experience.

From working the land, to hauling big loads at the worksite, to taking the kids to hockey, Canadians have been using their F-Series pickups in every part of their lives for decades.

No wonder the F-Series lineup has been Canada’s top-selling truck for more than fifty years, a staple of the jobsite and the home. Undisputed. And it began like everything else: with a single line.
