My Ford Blog colleague Sean recently travelled to Drumheller, Alta., to see what the F-150 is really made of. A few challenges were on the menu, including one of our favourites: the towing test.

We all know the F-150 can tow — up to 11,300 pounds — but there’s nothing like seeing it in action. We found the perfect terrain to put the truck to serious work on lots of winding roads, steep hills, and sharp curves.

We also found that it doesn’t just tow heavy loads easily – it tows them safely thanks to its standard Trailer Sway Control (TSC) technology and available Trailer Brake Controller (TBC). Watch Sean’s video and see the action for yourself!

What’s the heaviest thing you’ve ever towed in your truck? Let us know in the comments below.
