We couldn’t have asked for a better evening than the one we had for the recent ShopCrawl in Toronto, a fabulous night of shopping discounts at some of the best retailers in the downtown district.

The Bata Shoe Museum was buzzing as eager shopaholics gathered to check in and pick up their passports, which could be stamped at participating stores for a chance to win a prize. Also, we were all invited to get mini-makeovers — these made great use of the trunk of the Ford Fiesta to hold a glam mirror!

As the sun was setting and the lights went up, our Fiesta bloggers Lolitta, Carrie, Val and Jen arrived. Right away, we hopped into a car and were whisked down Bloor Street to another checkpoint. Once there, we made a shopping plan of action and started at HM. The store was alive with shoppers getting their passports stamped at the door, fitting room madness and a general sense of excitement.

We left HM and headed west on Bloor towards GAP, but we stopped when we saw a Fiesta parked with goodie bags in the trunk. You’re wrong if you thought we were not interested in stopping to check this out.

We were told that we could have a “ShopCrawl Survival Kit” if we tweeted with the hashtag #FiestaMoments – we were doing it all night anyway, so this was a breeze for us. Inside the kit, we found chocolate, water, lip balm, hand cream and Band-Aids. Frankly, this idea was genius!

Our last stop was Calvin Klein, which seemed to be the most popular spot. They were having their semi-annual sale along with the ShopCrawl discount and when ladies got wind of this, they swarmed!

We got back to the Bata Shoe Museum just in time for the after-party – yes, an after-party. Because, who doesn’t love to listen to some great tunes and sip on signature cocktails while swooning over recent purchases. Manicure stations were set up, as was a photo booth with wacky pieces to accessorize.

It truly was an incredible evening. ChickAdvisor, FASHION Canada and Ford know how to throw an awesome event!
