Saskatchewan is in the heart of Canadian truck country. It’s a province known for people who display toughness and work ethic on a daily basis (just like their champion football team – hey, we’re just saying).

So, it’s only right that the new F-Series Super Duty lineup was unveiled there.

This November, at the 43rd Canadian Western Agribition (CWA) in Regina, the 2015 lineup of the powerful truck was revealed, much to the pleasure of those in attendance.

Many in the Canadian prairies make a living with their pickups, whether it’s in the construction or agriculture industries. These are some of the toughest jobs you can find and definitely require durable, reliable trucks to put in work.

The CWA is an annual event that showcases farming products and techniques, as well as construction machinery and lifestyle goods. This year’s event featured over 800 trade show and livestock exhibitions.

But speaking of “machinery,” let’s take a closer look at the Super Duty, whose lineup includes the F-250, F-350 and F-450 models.

The 2015 lineup is an example of the “tough getting tougher.” Picture a Built Ford Tough vehicle – only one that’s beefed up even more. Chief among the new enhancements is a second-generation 6.7-litre Power Stroke V8 turbo diesel engine. This engine’s larger turbocharger (improving power and performance) and fuel system improvements both help to deliver increased towing capabilities.

F-450

The 2015 Ford F-450 sits atop the Super Duty lineup with its maximum towing and hauling capability. Notable changes for 2015 include a strengthened frame, new commercial-grade 19.5-inch wheels and tires, and upgraded suspension components.
