That’s not our paint job—we’re actually blushing: VW takes top honors in the Strategic Vision 2011 Total Quality Index

We admit that it feels nice to be recognized, especially when the praise comes from VW owners. Volkswagen Jetta, Golf, and Tiguan were named Total Quality leaders in the newly released Strategic Vision Inc. 2011 Total Quality Index.

The Golf and Tiguan placed first in the Small Multi-Function Vehicle and Entry Utility Vehicle categories, and the Jetta tied for top honors in the Medium Car segment.

The Total Quality Index® asks car buyers to rate everything from buying and owning to performance and quality perception to get an overall impression of the vehicle ownership experience. [Editor’s note: If they ever introduce a “New Car Smell” category, we’re confident that we’d take top honors in that one, too.]

Read all about it in our press release.
