A new generation of four-cylinder petrol engines is coming to the starting line in the new C-Class. At the same time, the C 200 and C 200 4MATIC are additionally equipped with a 48-volt electrical system with belt-driven starter-generator (EQ Boost). Starting in July 2019, more models will feature EQ Boost. The assistance by EQ Boost creates the prerequisites for additional functions that help to cut fuel consumption even more, while further increasing the agility and the comfort characteristics.
