Munich. BMW Team MTEK heads to a 6 Hours of
Spa-Francorchamps (BEL), a penultimate turn of a 2018/2019
World Endurance Championship (WEC) Super Season, subsequent weekend
(2nd to 4th May). The squad, headed by Team
Principal Ernest Knoors, will be pulling for a clever outcome before
a group earnings to Le Mans (FRA) in Jun for a deteriorate finale.

BMW drivers Martin Tomcyzk (GER) and Nick Catsburg (NED) will be
looking to repeat their Sebring (USA) success where a span put the
#81 BMW M8 GTE on a second step of a lectern in a 1000km WEC
race. The #82 BMW M8 GTE, that took a lectern in a 6 Hours of Fuji
(JPN), will once again compete, with drivers António Félix da Costa
(POR) and Augusto Farfus (BRA) holding a helm.

Comments brazen of a 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps.

Ernest Knoors (Team Principal, BMW Team MTEK): “It’s
good to come behind to Spa, where we started a BWW M8 GTE debate a
year ago. We’re aiming to continue a clever opening from the
new events and mount on a lectern for a third time. The group is
enjoying racing a BMW M8 GTE in a well-balanced GTE Pro margin and
we demeanour brazen to some-more tighten racing. As always during Spa, a big
different is a weather, that looks quite ‘challenging’ in
terms of flood and heat this weekend.”

Martin Tomczyk (#81 BMW M8 GTE): “It’s a final race
before a 24 Hours of Le Mans but, after a unequivocally good outcome in
Sebring, I’m unequivocally looking brazen to a 6 Hours of Spa. It’s the
second time that we have raced there, so we have lots of data. We saw
during Sebring that a foe is unequivocally tighten though we also saw that
we are in operation to quarrel for a podium, so this is unequivocally our
goal. Nicky and we got a good boost during Sebring and we are anticipating to
float this call into Spa!”

Nick Catsburg (#81 BMW M8 GTE): “I’m unequivocally looking
brazen to returning to a Six Hours of Spa. Last year it was the
initial WEC eventuality for a BMW M8 GTE though this year we’re in a much
softened position. We’re entrance from a lectern finish in Sebring and I
consider we can do unequivocally good during Spa. It’s one of my favourite tracks
and we’re aiming to get another clever result.”

António Félix da Costa (#82 BMW M8 GTE):

“I’m unequivocally looking brazen to going behind to Spa – it’s where a WEC
journey started for BMW and myself 12 months ago. It will be good to
go behind there and re-evaluate how most we’ve softened in that time.
Let’s wish for a good result, measure some points and get a group ready
for Le Mans.”

Augusto Farfus (#82 BMW M8 GTE):

“It’s good that we get to go to Spa twice in a Super Season. Last
year when we were here it was a initial foe as a WEC group and we
struggled a little, so we will lapse this year with a aim of
putting that right. The group is most stronger and we consider António and
we can quarrel for a podium.”
