Timo Scheider ends his DTM career

“We distinguished many honeyed successes together,” says Head of Audi Motorsport Dr. Wolfgang Ullrich. “The highlights, no doubt, were his dual DTM titles and his initial feat in a DTM during Oschersleben in 2008. Timo (Scheider) during this prolonged duration of time became a loyal Audian who has many fans. He’s been a group actor during all times and will always be related to Audi’s successful motorsport history.”

“I would have favourite to keep racing in a DTM,” says Timo Scheider, who will be 38 in Nov and is going to competition his 181st DTM competition on Sunday. “My heart will continue to kick for a DTM. we have a series of other sparkling projects I’m going to dedicate some-more time to in a future. They embody my possess teams in kart racing and in Formula 4. But a competition motorist Timo Scheider will continue to exist as good – either in rallycross or in other categories still stays to be seen.”
