Toyota Canada Inc. reports strong sales in first half of 2019

TORONTO, ON – July 3, 2019 – Toyota Canada Inc. (TCI) reported strong sales over the first half of 2019 with 120,368 vehicles sold.

At the end of June, the Toyota Division had sold 108,047 units, up 3.3% from 2018, and the Lexus luxury division reported sales of 12,321 units, up 7.1% from last year at the midway point.

In June, TCI reported 22,769 vehicles sold, down 2.2%. The Toyota Division reported sales of 20,524, down 1.5%, while the Lexus luxury division reported sales of 2,245 units, down 8.6%.
