Toyota is conducting a reserve remember involving certain Avalon vehicles

TORONTO, ONTARIO, Aug 29, 2018 – Toyota Canada Inc. currently announced that it is conducting a reserve remember involving certain 2012 indication year Toyota Avalon vehicles. Approximately 215 vehicles are concerned in Canada.

Due to a use partial production blunder during a Toyota supplier, some vehicles might have had a front chair belt middle bend transposed with one that does not rightly brand if a chair belt is buckled.  This could impact how a airbag complement determines a suitable airbag deployment process in a crash, and could boost a risk of damage to a passenger where a front chair belt middle bend was replaced. 

For all concerned vehicles, Toyota dealers will check a front chair belt middle buckle(s) and if necessary, reinstate it with a new one(s) during no cost to customers. All famous owners will accept a presentation by initial category mail starting in mid-September.
