VANCOUVER (Wednesday, March 23, 2016) – Chevrolet continues its product portfolio transformation with the Canadian debut of the 2017 Sonic at the Vancouver International Auto Show.  Also making its regional debut is the game-changing 2017 Bolt EV. Following an outstanding year in 2015, Chevrolet Canada continues moving forward into 2016 with 7 all-new, innovative and award winning vehicles.

“This is an important segment for Chevrolet in Canada, especially in key urban markets like Vancouver where small cars like the Sonic are popular and offer the opportunity for Chevrolet to introduce ourselves to new buyers,” said Laura Pacey, brand director, Chevrolet Canada.  “Add the Bolt EV to the mix and it signifies the big step Chevrolet is taking into the future, offering an all-electric, battery driven Chevrolet with up to 320 kilometres of EV range and an affordable price.”

2017 Chevrolet Sonic

The 2017 Sonic is a more expressive, sporty take on the Chevrolets fun-to-drive small car. It offers big technologies such as a new MyLink system with segment-exclusive Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, and a fresh exterior with new LED signature lighting.

The updated styling complements new comfort and convenience features such as an available heated steering wheel and a standard 7-inch-diagonal colour touchscreen for the new MyLink system. Rear Park Assist is also new, adding to one of the most comprehensive safety packages in the segment.

2017 Chevrolet Bolt EV

The Bolt EV will offer up to 320 kilometres of range on a full charge. It also features advanced connectivity technologies designed to enhance and personalize the driving experience.
The Bolt EV’s connectivity innovations will provide smart, personalized solutions for managing the driving experience. Many of the Bolt EV’s driver-focused technologies are supported by OnStar 4G LTE, which turns the Bolt EV into a Wi-Fi hotspot, giving owners easier access to apps and services via a high-speed wireless connection.
