Acura Automobiles: 2015 Acura MDX, RDX and TLX Named Best Cars for the Money from U.S. News & World Report

Three of Acura’s luxury performance vehicles have been recognized by U.S. News World Report’s 2015 Best Cars for the Money awards: the 2015 MDX was lauded the Best Luxury 3-Row SUV for the Money, the 2015 RDX took the Best Luxury Compact SUV for the Money award and the 2015 TLX won the Upscale Midsize Car category.

The MDX, the best-selling 3-row luxury SUV in the U.S., is a Best Cars for the Money recipient for the third consecutive year while the RDX was named Best Compact SUV for the second straight year. The TLX, which was introduced as a new model in August 2014, is one of the brand’s best-selling models and it continues to rack up industry nods at a comparable pace.

“Receiving accolades for our best-selling SUVs and our new performance sedan speaks to the powerful momentum that continues to drive the Acura brand forward,” said Michael Accavitti, senior vice president and general manager, Acura Division. “Acura’s unique combination of performance, proportion and prestige is delivering value to the customer and the marketplace is taking notice. We’re proud and honored to receive these awards from U.S. News Best Cars.”

The Best Cars for the Money methodology combines quality and value data into a composite score. Within each of 21 categories, the vehicle with the highest score is named the Best Car for the Money in that category. Quality is measured by the overall score achieved in the U.S. News car rankings at the time the awards are published. Value is measured by five-year total cost of ownership and the average price paid for the vehicle at the time the awards are published. The 2015 Acura MDX, RDX and TLX and other winners can be found at usnews.com/cars-money.
