An overview of all BMW Motorsport activities for the 2016 season.

Munich (DE), 4th May 2016. Ahead of the opening race weekend of the
2016 DTM season in Hockenheim (DE), BMW Motorsport is shifting up a
gear. As well as the DTM races in Spielberg (AT), the programme for
the coming weeks also features the 24-hour race at the Nürburgring
(DE) – closely followed by the joint DTM and ADAC GT Masters weekend
at the Lausitzring (DE) where, as well as the BMW M4 DTM, the new BMW
M6 GT3 and BMW Motorsport Juniors will also be in action.

The BMW M6 GTLM and BMW M6 GT3 have already been racing since January
in North America, in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship
(IWSC). Private teams also field BMW racing cars in high-quality
racing series around the world.

In order to offer you an overview of all of this season’s activities,
we have prepared a press kit in PDF format for each commitment. In a
year that marks the centenary of the BMW Group and the BMW brand, we
have also taken the opportunity to take a look back at BMW’s
successful motorsport history.

You can find the press kits for the DTM, IWSC, GT Racing, BMW Sports
Trophy, BMW Motorsport Junior Programme, and 100 years of BMW attached
to this press release, and at www.press.bmwgroup.com/global.
