Audi Neckarsulm hires 149 apprentices and 14 dual education students

Happy faces at Audi Forum Neckarsulm: a total of 163 young Audi employees celebrate successful completion of their training. Now they begin their professional careers. The Audi Neckarsulm site has hired all of the graduates.

 “In addition to experienced employees, we need fresh ideas and the commitment of bold young recruits to drive Audi and the Neckarsulm site forward,” said plant manager Helmut Stettner. “With these graduates, our team has acquired 163 trained and motivated colleagues.”

Rainer Schirmer, Deputy Chairman of the Works Council, congratulated the graduates: “You are our future. Our aim is for you to develop within our company long term and for future generations to also be able to complete the high-quality vocational training at Audi.”

The 149 apprentices are divided into nine occupational groups: 20 automotive mechatronics technicians, 13 mechatronics technicians, 9 body and vehicle construction mechanics, 56 production mechanics, 12 electronics technicians for automation technology, 11 tool mechanics, 5 painters, 17 specialists for warehouse logistics and 6 industrial administrative assistants. The dual education students completed the following courses of study: mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics and industrial engineering.
