eCar Awards: two wins for Audi
Audi’s plug‑in hybrid strategy is scoring points. At the eCar Awards by Auto Bild and Auto Test magazines, Audi took first place with its A3 Sportback e‑tron and the TT offroad concept car. The Audi A3 Sportback e‑tron was the winner in the “Best Plug‑In Hybrid – Production Vehicles” category. The Audi TT offroad concept took the honors in the category of “Best Plug‑In Hybrid – Concept Vehicles.” Audi introduced this show car at the Beijing International Automobile Exhibition in April. Head of Sales Luca de Meo named a Eurostar
The international industry publication Automotive News Europe honored the top managers in Europe’s automotive industry on October 1, 2014, in Paris. Audi Board Member for Marketing and Sales Luca de Meo received the prestigious award in the “Sales  Marketing Executive” category. In its remarks, the jury pointed out that de Meo had contributed significantly to worldwide sales growth at AUDI AG. The Eurostar has been presented annually to the cream of the crop in all segments of the automotive industry since 1998. (October 1, 2014)

New Audi TT: Design Innovation of the Year
Audi cleaned up at this year’s Automotive Brand Contest: The new Audi TT* was crowned Innovation of the Year. The Matrix LED headlights in the Audi A8* won the title of “Best of Best.” The Automotive Brand Contest is an international design competition for automotive brands. It is presented by the German Design Council. Audi was also honored here for the Audi A3 Sedan*, the Audi allroad shooting brake and the “Luft” designer armchair developed by Audi designers in partnership with Walter de Silva and the furniture makers at Poltrona Frau. Triple victory for Audi in the ADAC customer satisfaction survey
Audi led in three categories in this year’s ADAC customer satisfaction survey: The Audi A1* topped the list of small cars, the Audi A5* took top honors for the third consecutive time in the midsize category, and the Audi A6* defended its title in the upper midsize category. Audi also outdid its direct competitors in the brand rankings with a second‑place finish. The annual ADAC customer satisfaction survey determines how happy car drivers are with their cars. Euro-Effie Awards: gold for Audi
“Harder, better, faster, stronger”: Audi took home the gold Euro‑Effie in the Best Demonstration of Integrated Effectiveness category for its campaign for the Audi A3 Sportback*. The campaign also earned the silver against some tough competition in the Automotive category. Two additional silver awards went to Ingolstadt for the communication accompanying the “Land of quattro” campaign. The Euro‑Effie honors effective advertising in European ad campaigns and is presented annually by a jury made up of communications and marketing experts. The advertising agency thjnk was primarily responsible for its creation. (September 17, 2014)

Five wins for Audi at the Car Connectivity Awards
The brand with the four rings took home five first‑place victories at the Car Connectivity Awards by auto motor und sport and CHIP: Audi won its class in the Navigation, Telephone Integration, Sound System, Entertainment/Multimedia and Connected Cars categories. Impressive features in these areas include Audi MMI navigation plus, the Audi phone box, the Bang  Olufsen Sound System in the Audi S3* and the LTE mobile communications standard. The jury also declared the new Audi TT the best of all connected cars. (September 17, 2014)

Audi S1 wins Autonis Award
The Audi S1* took top honors in the small car category at the Autonis Awards held by auto motor und sport. The compact sports car garnered 33.3 percent of the votes from the magazine’s readers. The Autonis Award honors the best design innovations from the previous 12 months. More than 17,000 readers participated in the vote. (September 17, 2014)

First place for Audi at the sport auto Awards
Audi was showered with honors at this year’s sport auto Awards: The Audi RS 6 Avant* took first place in the “Sedans/Station Wagons Over 100,000 euros” category. The Audi S1 topped the list in the “Small Car” category. The Audi TTS 2.0 TFSI* finished the race in second place in the “Coupés up to 50,000 euros” category. In the “Sedans/Station Wagons up to 50,000 euros” category, the Audi S3 Sedan also took second place. The RS 4 Avant* drove into third place in the “Sedans/Station Wagons up to 100,000 euros” category. A total of 15,551 sport auto magazine readers participated in the vote. (September 10, 2014)
